When someone visits our website, the Wix platform we use,  also collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site, understand what products are popular and where we can improve things. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. 

 

 

Contact Form:

Our Contact Form on the Contact Page, requires Name, Email and comment information. Any data you submit through this contact form is not visible to other visitors or shared with anyone other than the necessary recipients within Jolly's Cocktails administration. Wix does store contact form submissions which allows us to access these through our Wix dashboard. All submissions also go to info@jollyscocktails.com which can only be accessed by a Jolly's Cocktails administrator, who is professionally responsible for the handling of this data from this account. As a contact form submission can only be sent by ticking the consent button, consent of handling that data is automatically proven upon submission.

Mailing List:

Our website features a 'Subscribe to Our Mailing List' section. This only needs your email address and will allow you to register to receive marketing emails from us. We use a double-opt in feature for this form which means you will receive an email to confirm subscription. You can opt out at any time.

Online Store Account:

The Jolly's Cocktails Store is built on the popular Wix platform. This also gives us the facility to provide you with the option to register and and store login information as an alternative to checking out as a guest. This services acts like the majority of other online store accounts, where your name, contact information, billing and shipping information will be stored. The account system is integrated directly with Wix and although it is a trusted platform, you should still make sure to choose a strong password. A simple google search will assist you on how to create strong passwords online, but we recommend using a lengthy password longer than 7 characters with a mixture of numbers, letters, symbols, upper and lowercase and as always this should never be shared with anyone else. We have security features in place to protect your information, but if someone has access to your password, we are unable to prevent their access unless you inform us that your account has been breached. We use Paypal as a payment gateway which handles all transactions. Payment information is not stored on this site. Please visit the PayPal website to learn more about their data protection policies. We also store information such as names, addresses, IP addresses and contact information. We do not share address information with anyone other than postal services as they will obviously see your address on the label when we send off an item. You have the right to remove your information or delete your account at any time along with changing your password. You will be able to amend your information in the account page of the website once logged in, however if you would like your account completely removed then please feel free to contact us and we can assist you with that.

 

Online Store Orders:

The Jolly's Cocktails Store uses Wix as mentioned above to handle and store order information. We need this information to provide users with the service of processing an order specific to the items purchased, shipping details, billing details, and correspondence information. This includes addresses, contact information such as email and / or phone, along with the items purchased, specific requests and the IP and data and time of the order. We will also notify you via the email associated with the order of any updates to the order including but not limited to confirmation of order and completion of order / notification of dispatch. We may need to contact you concerning your order if there are any other updates you need to know about, but we will not use your email address to send out additional marketing correspondence unless you have opted in to our newsletter. Sensitive card data you use to place your order is not handled or stored by Jolly's Cocktails in anyway and goes directly through PayPal. Our accounts with them allow us to view transactional information required to run the shop but no card details are accessible.

For example, a comment or review on a product is designed to be submitted with full awareness that it will be made public and will need to be stored within our database to appear to other users on the front end. Any data that you consent to submit to our website will be stored for an unspecified amount of time. We intend to keep this data available for as long as the website exists. However we are not obligated to hold this data indefinitely and any data submitted or logged may be removed at any time. By default, cookies are only stored for up to 30 days and are automatically removed after that.
